The first weekend of December I joined about a half-dozen amateur photographers walked through the Lemon Bay Conservancy’s Wildflower Preserve for a photography contest which runs through Feb. 15, 2012. This inaugural competition will help document the flora in this new preserve, which was 80-acre Wildflower Golf Club located in Cape Haze, Fla., the western…

*yawn* Not only has it been an incredible day but it’s been an amazing week with much to share. Unfortunately, I haven’t figured out how to use my idle time driving to blog so today’s Wordless Wednesday post is a snapshot from tonight’s hotel. Quite regal, don’t ya think?

Wordless Wednesday: I’m Thankful For…

Since Thanksgiving is tomorrow, thought I’d share, through images, some of the things I’m thankful for. When traveling to Boston, I strongly recommend using the T. Today’s post is a just a quick video of a subway train pulling into the State Street Station. Enjoy!

Chic Lighting and Decor in Holiday Inn Titusville - Kennedy Space Center

“You should move over there,” my mom said when I told her about my plans to visit Florida’s Space Coast over the weekend. I’ve probably made about half a dozen trips over to Titusville since the beginning of the year and it almost feels like home.

Enjoying the Last Sunday of Summer 2011 at Stump Pass Beach State Park, Englewood, Fla.

The last day of Summer 2011 is tomorrow and I spent my final day off of the season at Stump Pass Beach State Park in Englewood, Fla. I walked the beach hunting for fossilized shark’s teeth, listening to the shorebirds and soaking up the sun. I was in good company with other beachcombers and fishermen….
