Tampa Bay Rays’ Joe Maddon: I Dig His Style

Tampa Bay Rays Manager Joe Maddon with His Auburn Colored Hair Speaks with Media, Port Charlotte, Fla., Feb. 20, 2012
Wearing boot-cut blue jeans, a pair of Vans, a two-toned blue Rays jersey, dark shades and donning what some called auburn-colored hair at today’s pre-spring training press conference at the Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fla., there’s no doubt Tampa Bay Rays’ Manager Joe Maddon has some serious style. I’m no expert in fashion or baseball but over the past four years during Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training I’ve observed Mr. Maddon’s constantly evolving look.

My day job allows me access to pretty cool things. Yesterday, we coordinated the media lunch for the Tampa Bay Rays pre-spring training press conference. I think it went pretty well. On a personal level, I’d like to thank Lock ‘n Key Restaurant of Englewood, Place in the Sun Vacation Rentals and In Your Face Cupcakes of Punta Gorda for “bringing a dish to pass” for this event.
The food was AMAZING! The lunch was well received and in the PR world it’s best to make friends while feeding tummies good food and company.
Enjoy these snapshots from the day and if planning a trip to Port Charlotte for spring training, check out my tips for planning a visit.
