Whew! I’ve gotta be honest, I’m beat but know I made a commitment to participate in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge (more so to myself) so here I am. I began this post at 9:45 p.m. and although I’m ready to crawl into bed, I’m thinking of something witty to say related to the letter “O.”

After hitting the street at 6 a.m. today and rolling in around 9 p.m., the only thing I could think of was, “Am I too old for this?”

“This” is in reference to my job in tourism public relations. Granted, every day isn’t like this week in New York City, although every day is something different. I’m mentally drained, my dogs are barking and my comfy hotel bed is calling my name.

In addition to attending today’s function and following up on office work I…

Thought It’d Be A Great Idea to Show Up at the Good Morning America Set at 6:45 a.m.

Oh yeah, in addition to the lunchtime work function, enjoyed some delicious bites for dinner.

In short, I’m a little tuckered and feeling old but know after a few hours of sleep, I’ll be able to do it all over again.

So tell me, how was your day?

This post is part of the 2012 Blogging from A to Z Challenge. Check back daily for a different letter!

  1. I am tired just reading it! If you have time there was a wine bar called Ayza? I think that had the most delicious dessert flight of 6 truffles and two dessert wines.

  2. Hello,

I feel the same way! What was I thinking, 26 posts in a row???? I think this is my new favorite blog! I will definitely be back to see what you dream up for the other letters, and to read more of your lovely writing.

I am doing the A to Z Challenge as well. Take a peek at my blog too if you get a chance!

    Best,

  3. Wonderful … photo’s of a very special city. Going back next year for my 65th birthday on 11.09. So it’s going to be a very special visit – that I wanted to do for some years – and when I won 2x 1 class ticket over FB with British Airways – nothing can stop me. Can’t wait. Thanks for giving you view of the Big Apple

  4. Wow! Congrats on winning the tickets! You’ll have an amazing time for your birthday, it’s such a wonderful city, always something different and new to do. I’ve yet to see a Broadway show, though. Next time.

Visiting the Flight 93 National Memorial with My Dog

Driving through Western Pennsylvania’s rolling farmland, I held back tears thinking of the afternoon’s destination, the Flight 93 National Memorial. Almost 20 years later, the thoughts of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, still trigger deep emotions.
